Cyber Bullying in Schools

Parents

Parents, by making yourself aware of what your children are doing online, you will be able to stop cyber bullying early if it starts.  Check the age restrictions on social networking sites that your children want to visit, install software that can monitor intrusive behaviour, and most importantly talk to your children.  Understand what sites they are visiting, who they might be talking to, and to report to you any cyber bullying that they receive.  It is also very important that you explain the importance of not cyber bullying others, as well.

The following list of articles and resources has been provided for parents to give them some suggestions and guidelines on how to help protect their children from cyber bullying.
